How to get Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for Galaxy Star 2 Plus
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update
is now available for Samsung Galaxy Star 2 Plus SM- G350E. Read through this
post to flash the update on your handset.
It’s pity as Samsung has stopped
supporting for Galaxy Star 2 Plus at Android 4.4.2 KitKat and there is no
longer any official update. However, that does not mean, you cannot update for
your Star 2 Advance to the higher Android version. Of course, you cannot do it
officially, but you can take advantage of the custom ROMs. That’s why, in this

How to install Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow for Galaxy Star Plus
Before flashing Android 6.0.1 ROM
for your handset, you need to take note something first.

This ROM is only for Samsung SM-G350E so if you
flash it on any other Android devices, it can end to brick the device.

It will delete all the data inside the internal
memory, so you should make a backup first.

Charge the battery up to at least 50% to ensure
it will not die during installing Rom process.

You also need a custom recovery such as TWRP,

Now, your Star 2 Plus is ready to flash
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Install an Android 6.0 Marshmallow ROM on Samsung Galaxy SM-G350E

Download the Android
6.0 Marshmallow ROM file as well as Google
Apps package (Select ARM and Marshmallow i.e 6.0) onto your computer

Move the downloaded files into your Galaxy S4,
do not put it in any folder

Power off your device and then boot your
device into recovery mode. To do that, hold down and press the Home, Volume up and Power buttons
together for a few seconds. After that, press the Volume down and your device now is in TWRP recovery.

Now, tap on Wipe Advance section, select ‘wipe data, cache, dalvik, system’ and slide
to confirm the selection

Then, load the ROM by selecting “Install” and “choose zip from SD card.”

Now flash the Rom you have moved into your
device and wait for the process to complete. Once done, you will be prompted to
reboot your device, tap on “No” to continue flashing the Google Apps

Once the installation is complete, from the
recovery options, tap on “Reboot system” to reboot your
device. For the first time booting up, it will take about 10-20 minutes.
Your Galaxy Star 2 Plus have been
