How to Install Android 7.1.2 Custom ROM on OnePlus One

The OnePlus One has ever been the first OnePlus’s Android flagship devices released in 2014 and the phone was rolled with Android 4.4 Kikat, which was later updated and then stopped Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. That’s a pity but the great news is that the smartphone can now taste the Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS features. The OnePlus One can get this opportunity with the Android 7.1.2 Nougat ROM. Your phone will have all new Nougat features and its performance and reliability over stock Android will increase. Below is a step-by-step guide to flash the 7.1.2 Nougat ROM on your Smartphone.

This Custom Nougat ROM is still in the development, so it’s recommended only for the advanced Android users. If you are not an advanced Android user and don’t have any experience on Android tweaking, then you must not take your own risk.
Before flashing the Custom ROM update, you need to root your OnePlus One and then you need to install the latest Custom Recovery (TWRP) on it. Also you need to make a full backup of your data before update. Finally, charge your device to at least 50% power to avoid unpleasant issues during the update.
