How to Jailbreak iOS 10 – 10.3.3 Using H3lix
Finally, the jailbreak community has received a great Christmas gift as the developer tihmstar already released H3lix, a new jailbreak tool for iOS devices running iOS 10 to 10.3.3.
Although it supports all versions of iOS 10, it’s compatible with 32-bit iOS devices.
But before getting started, take a look at the supported devices below so that you can use H3lix jailbreak.
· iPhone 5
· iPhone 5c
· iPad mini 1
· iPad 2/3/4
If you try using this jailbreak on a 64-bit device, of course, it will not work.
The H3lix jailbreak tool comes in the form of IPA file that is similar to Yalu, or Phoenix. You can get the latest version of the jailbreak app from its developer site or download from the mirror link.
1. First, download the H3lix jailbreak app and Cydia Impactor to sideload the app
2. Now plug your iPhone or iPad into the computer
3. Extract and launch Cydia Impactor
4. Drag and drop the H3lix IPA into Impactor windows
5. You will now be prompted to enter your Apple ID and Password
Wait for the process to complete. After that, you will see the app on the screen of your phone.
Before launching it, there is one last step you need to do. Go to Settings> General > Profile or Device Management, look for your Apple ID, and tap on “Trust”. Doing this can help to open the H3lix app without seeing the untrusted developer message.
Now, launch H3lix app on the screen. To start the jailbreak, tap on the yellow jailbreak button. Wait until the process is done, you should see Cydia on your iOS 10 device. That’s all! You can now install your favorite tweaks on your device.
In case you get the installation error 42 on Cydia Impactor, simply try these tips below to fix it:
This error occurs when your iPhone or iPad isn’t running on an iOS version that’s incompatible with the app. The best thing is upgrading your firmware.
Alternative fix if the extra_recipe refuses to install.
1. Unzip the IPA file
2. Go to Payload > extra_recipe and choose show package contents > Payload > Info.plist
3. Change MinimumOSVersion to 10.0.0
4. Compress the Payload file again
5. Finally, change the extension from .ZIP to .IPA and try using Cydia Impactor again.
