How To Mod Adds Fingerprint Wakeup After Reboot, Night Light On Xiaomi Mi A1
The Mi A1 is the first Xiaomi smartphone that is shipped with Android One, so it isn’t surprising as there have been a lot of attention since its launch. Android One does not come with the same functionality as the standard Android version. However, thanks to an XDA Senior Member, he created a mod for Xiaomi Mi A1 that adds some new features such as fingerprint wakeup (wake the display with third-party lock screen apps), auto brightness, and other ones.

You should note that the mod only works with any Nougat 7.1.2 build on the Mi A1.The process might affect to your data, so we recommend making a backup first. Moreover, charge your phone’s battery to at least 60%.
Before flashing the mod file, you first need to install the TWRP recovery for your Mi A1. To do so, follow these below steps exactly:
2. Download these two files for installing recovery
3. Now, switch off your phone and then boot into the fastboot mode by pressing and holding Power + Volume Down buttons
4. Connect your phone to the computer and copy the recovery-3.1.1-1.img into the ADB driver
5. In ADB driver, press Shift + Right-click and choose “Open PowerShell window here”
6. In the cmd window, type fastboot device to check if the software detects your device
7. Enter the following command to install the custom recovery
fastboot flash recovery-3.1.1-1.img
8. Now, boot your phone into TWRP recovery by entering the command:
fastboot boot recovery-3.1.1-1.img
9. In TWRP recovery menu, select Mount->Enable MTP
10. Copy the twrp-3.1.1-1-installer-tissot.zip file into the internal storage
11. Return to the recovery screen, tap on Install and flash the file.
You have successfully installed the TWRP custom recovery on your Mi A1. Now, it’s time to install the modified zip file on your phone.

How To Install Mod Zip File
· Download the zip file from the link below and then copy the file into the internal storage

· Boot your phone into TWRP recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Power buttons
· Tap on Install and flash it.
· Once done, tap on Advance, and wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache. Reboot your phone and enjoy the result.
