Before proceeding, you must meet some of the requirements first:

·             First, download the TWRP custom recovery for your Xiaomi device. Depending on your device, you can get the TWRP custom recovery “.img” file from the link below and then change its name into “recovery” and copy it into ADB folder.

·             Next, download the MIUI 10 Close Beta ROM for your device from the links below and then copy it to the internal storage of your phone

·             Switch your phone off and then press & hold the Power + Volume Down keys simultaneously to boot up in Fastboot mode.

·             Connect your phone to the computer in the fastboot mode and then open ADB folder. Now, open a Command Prompt or Powershell window by right clicking on any blank space and choose Open Command Prompt from here. Enter the following command to flash TWRP recovery. 

fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

After that, enter the following command to boot into TWRP recovery:

fastboot boot recovery.img

Once you’re into TWRP menu, tap on Wipe > Format Data and type yes to confirm your choice. Tap on Reboot -> Recovery.

Now, continue to tap on Wipe  -> Advanced Wipe > and choose Dalvik / ART Cache, Cache, and System options.

 Once done, tap on install and flash the MIUI 10 close beta ROM.zip

 When the process is completed, tap on “Wipe Cache/Dalvik” and then reboot your phone.
